About Me

My photo
I grew up on Cape Cod. Married my soul mate, Jason in 1999. We moved to TN in 2005, just because we love the area. Now we have 3 kids-a 10 year old named Joe, a 7 year old girl, April, and James, our 16 month old baby boy. Since I can't afford to be a stay at home mom, I currently work at Cartridge World in Spring Hill. I help people save money on travel through a company called World Ventures, I am always looking for a great way to make money from home. I am also the personal secretarty to the Owner of Inside and Out Improvements. If you need a handyman or a bathroom or kitchen remodeled or pretty much anything done Inside or outside your home Call Jason @ 615-947-2863, he is a perfectionist with great prices!

I Want To Be A Stay-At-Home-Mom

One thing I have wanted since my first child was born was to be a "Stay At Home Mom"  Here we are 10 years later and I am still working on that.  I currently work at Cartridge World in Spring Hill as the Store Manager/Ink Tech/Sales Rep and Networking Queen.  I enjoy it and I am thankful for a great boss and a great job.  I just want to spend more time at home with my family.  My husband Jason ownes Inside & Out Improvements which is a home improvement company that he started this past spring.  Ideally his company will take off and I can stay home and maybe get paid to do his bookkeeping.  For now I work at Cartridge World 36-40 hours per week.  I help people save money on travel through a company called World Ventures, http://lafleurtravel.dreamtripslife.com/ .   I just started doing survey's and completing offers online through http://www.cashcrate.com/3322941 check it out and use this link so I can receive a small referral fee when you decide to sign up.  I also did hair for almost 8 years back in Massachusetts and I have been thinking of getting my license in TN.  I am praying for God to guide me and I hope He plans for me to be a stay at home mom someday soon.  I'll let you know how it all works out.

How We Ended Up In TN

I find it very interesting to here where people are from and why they moved here to Spring Hill, TN.  Let's face it, most people are not actually from Spring Hill.  We live in a melting pot that seems to draw people in from all over the country.  My immediate neighbors are from Michigan, California, Indiana, West TN (which basically should be it's own state), and Conneticut.  Jay and I are from Massachusetts.  Jay grew up in Springfield, MA and moved to Mashpee, MA(Cape Cod) when he was 12.  I grew up in Dennis MA on Cape Cod.  After we met, fell in love, and got married we bought a house in Mashpee.  After a few years we decided we needed a bigger house.  It was between around 800-900 square feet, 2 bedrooms, 1 bath a kitchen and living room and a basement. Our house was cute but small.  We started looking for a house on the Cape but going from a 2 bedroom to a 3 or 4 bedroom home the prices were like 300,000+, way more than we could afford.  Then I got pregnant again and we really needed a bigger house.  We had visited our friends in TN a couple times and loved the area.  The cost of living was less and the home prices were alot less, so with my husbands encouragement and my hopes for being able to be a "stay at home" mom we decided to leave all our family and move 2200 miles away without even having jobs.  We put our house on the market the end of February 2005.  We started looking at houses in Tn and made a trip down here in April 2005 and found a house we really liked.  By May we had an offer on our house and we were set to close our house in Mashpee in June and move to TN to close on the house we had picked out in Columbia.  At the time Joe was 4 and April was 1.  You are probably thinking "what were they thinking?" We ended up not getting the house in Columbia and instead Jay picked out our home in Spring Hill on short notice. We moved here in July and are completely at home here.  We have met some amaizing people and some of our family has followed us down here.  I didn't realize it then but I know now that God is the reason we are here.  We have so much to be thankful for and moving here is definitly one of them.
